Open Access Policy

Studia Dramatica is committed to the principles of free and unrestricted access to academic research. The journal operates under a Diamond Open Access model, meaning that neither authors nor readers are subject to any fees at any stage of the publication process. There are no article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or subscription costs.

This model ensures that high-quality scholarly work remains accessible to a global audience without financial barriers, fostering a more inclusive and equitable academic environment. By eliminating publication costs, Studia Dramatica supports researchers from diverse backgrounds and institutions, including those with limited funding, while also upholding rigorous editorial and peer-review standards.

Our commitment to Diamond Open Access reflects our dedication to the open exchange of knowledge, enabling the widest possible dissemination of research in drama and performance studies.

 

Distribution, deposit and archiving:

The published content is deposited in digital preservation services: OAI – to provide metadata to third-party indexing services through the Open Archives Initiative, PKP Preservation Network (PN), LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, OpenAire Explore, etc. 

Articles published are deposited in the archives of Lucian Blaga Central University Library in Cluj-Napoca and in other platforms. They may also be included in the repositories of Babeș-Bolyai University’s national and international partner institutions.  

The authors are allowed to deposit versions of their work in an institutional or other repository of their choice.

The articles will be stored, soon, at our BBU DSPACE: Studia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai Collection.

The distribution / circulation of the publication (printed version, self-financed, supported by the faculty) is done only through the national and international exchange of the "Lucian Blaga" University Library in Cluj-Napoca.
