Pope Francis - Pontificate of crossing Borders. From the start of his pontificate, Pope Francis received two types of reception for his proposals and analysis of reality and the decisions he made. On the one hand, these were enthusiastic and tolerant responses, but on the other hand, we encounter attitudes full of doubt, even resistance. It is appropriate to ask ourselves where such different attitudes towards the proposals of our Pope and his entourage come from. This type of reaction very often concerns moral issues that are particularly relevant in our time. It seems that this situation also leads to responsible crossing of many borders, which is exceptionally characteristic of the current pontificate. It will therefore be beneficial to consider the current pontificate as a period of crossing borders, which also becomes a necessity for the Church. An analysis within the framework of moral theology will be useful to us in this regard.
