FOREWORD: THEOLOGY AND FRONTIER

Abstract

The first seven articles represent the authors' contribution for the conference "Theology and Frontier" within the Centre for Frontier Studies and Research in Theology of the Greek Catholic Faculty of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (from May 17, 2024). The main motivation of the research center is to address theological (and theologically related) issues that arise at the frontiers between traditions, between languages, between disciplines, between life and death, between an identity and an alterity, between good and evil, etc. The conference aimed to investigate how theological research is stimulated by a way of thinking that starts from the term, concept or paradigm of the frontier? The intra-, inter-, trans-, plural disciplinary perspectives have been targeted.
