Open Access Policy
Starting September 2021 Studia UBB Historia issues got the status of ‘Open Access’.
As an Open Access journal (ISSN 2065-9598), Studia UBB Historia does not charge readers or their institutions for access (read, download, copy, distribute, print for research use, search, or link to the full texts of articles).
All articles published in Studia UBB Historia are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share.
Authors can re/use the material however they want as long as it fits the NC ND terms of the license Creative Commons. Authors are themselves responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyright material from other sources.
Studia UBB Historia does not charge authors any kind of publication fees or article processing charges.
The authors are allowed to deposit versions of their work in an institutional or other repository of their choice.
Distribution, deposit and archiving:
The published content is deposited in digital preservation services: OAI – to provide metadata to third-party indexing services through the Open Archives Initiative, PKP Preservation Network (PN), LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, OpenAire Explore, etc.
Articles published are deposited in the archives of Lucian Blaga Central University Library in Cluj-Napoca and in other platforms. They may also be included in the repositories of Babeș-Bolyai University’s national and international partner institutions.
The circulation of the publication (print version) oscillates, depending on the requirement of the national and international exchange of the “Lucian Blaga” University Library, Cluj-Napoca.
There is also a printed version of the journal (ISSN 1220-0492), which can be purchased through the distribution network of the Argonaut Publishing House.
The articles will be stored, soon, at our BBU DSPACE: Studia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai Collection.
