LA BOLLA “RATIONI CONGRUIT” E LA SUA IMPORTANZA

Abstract

The Bull of Rationi Congruit and its importance. On the occasion of the 3rd century (1721-2021) since the publication of the papal bull Rationi Congruit, the present article attempts to formulate some considerations on this important historical event. The bull would provide the means to create a royal instrument in Transylvania, through which the Viennese court would succeed in destructuring the edifice established for centuries on the basis of medieval principles and contribute to the repositioning of things in the context of Habsburg reformism.
