Abstract

Lent - ”The Cure of Our Souls”. Lent in John Chrysostom's view. The present research is a reexamination of the theme of Lent out of a Christological perspective with a view to a research that would constitute the foundation of the analysis on the fundamentals of Lent tradition within the Greek-Catholic Church in Romania. As a consequence, in a few pages, we will review the message of the Church and tradition as seen in the writings of John Chrysostom about Lent.
